3. Competition Overview & Duration

3.1 The Pitstop Paperclip Challenge is a long-term competition running alongside a live trade-up challenge.
3.2 The trade-up challenge begins with a single paperclip and involves trading up to higher-value items over time.
3.3 The final traded item, whatever it may be at the end of the challenge, will become the main prize of the competition.
3.4 The final prize is unknown at the time of entry and will be revealed once the final trade is completed.
3.5 The Pitstop Paperclip Challenge and the associated competition will close on 28 December 2026 at 8:30pm (UK time). No entries will be accepted after this time.
3.6 The final winner will be selected in a live draw on 28 December 2026, which will be the Promoter’s final live draw of the year. The draw will take place at or shortly after 8:30pm (UK time) and will be broadcast on an official Pitstop Prizes social media channel.

4. Guaranteed Cash Prize

4.1 In the event that the trade-up challenge does not result in a suitable higher-value final item, or if the Promoter reasonably determines that the final traded item is not appropriate to be awarded as the main prize, a guaranteed cash prize of £5,000 will be awarded instead.
