Itinerary

• Arrival and sign on
• 30 Minute Introductory Briefing: Covering racing lines, throttle/braking technique and track day safety etiquette
• 4 x Sighting Laps including 1 high speed passenger lap in a track prepared sports car
• 4 x Driving laps in the F1000 Single Seater under yellow flag conditions
• 12 x Driving laps in the F1000 single seater with 1:1 tuition from the motorsport instruction team

Duration

The experience duration is approximately 90 minutes.

Vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase. Saturday dates can be booked for an upgrade fee.

General

• Full Manual UK or International drivers license is required to partake in this experience
• You will need to present the license on the day, photocopies will not be accepted
• You must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
• Glasses must be worn if necessary
• Flat soled shoes must be worn
• Helmets are supplied at the venue
• If you wish to book a weekend date you must pay a surcharge per driver
• When ordering a voucher or booking a date for Bovingdon Experiences you also agree to the additional Bovingdon Terms and Conditions
• Boost upgrade available on the day for £19, subject to availability and weather conditions

Availability

Selected weekday dates from January – December. Weekends run on selected Saturdays but require a surcharge to book (unless prepaid). Saturdays get booked up quickly so it’s likely that only the early morning slots will be available unless you book well in advance.

Extras On The Day

Extra laps and passenger laps can be purchased on the day. Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage.

Weather Conditions

In the instance of severe weather such as Snow, ice or dense fog your event may get cancelled and you will be offered an alternative date for your experience. Please refer to the events team’s terms and conditions.

• Welcome and sign on
• Full safety briefing from an expert instructor
• Drive your chosen legendary car for 3 miles
• Free high speed passenger ride in a performance saloon car*
• Presentation and collection of your driving certificate on completion

* – Passenger ride is in a 4×4 Off Road Vehicle at Prestwold Hall only.

You can order a 10-month open Gift Voucher or select any available date. You can upgrade the validity for an additional fee when you order. There is an additional fee to book a weekend date. (*Please note Brands Hatch, Goodwood, Oulton Park, and Snetterton only run on weekdays.) Some venues require an upgrade fee. (£20 for Dunsfold Park) and (£50 for Brands Hatch, Goodwood, Oulton Park, and Snetterton). Upon booking, you will not be able to specify which model but can pre-book the make. There are additional premium vehicles available to drive which are not listed on our website and are only available to book over the phone. Please note not all cars are available at all venues. It is recommended that you call our Customer Service team to make the booking over the phone to confirm availability. Some experiences will be measured in laps or time typically 5 – 10 mins vehicle dependent.

Driver Requirements:
In order to take part, drivers must have and produce their booking confirmation and a driving licence which allows them to legally drive on UK roads
Drivers must be able to understand instructions given to them in English
Participants must be medically fit to take part
Glasses must be worn if required for driving
Please check the driver meets these requirements before you book

Venue Rules:
Some venues mentioned below may not be relevant to this experience
Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
No dogs allowed on site
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
Customers must arrive at their booking location 30 minutes before their drive time and if late may forfeit their booking
Full-face helmets must be worn when driving at Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Goodwood and Snetterton (you can bring your own)
Helmets must be worn in the Ariel Atom at any venue
Children under 16 are not permitted at these venues due to circuit regulations – Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Aintree, Goodwood, Snetterton

Vehicle Availability:
All vehicles are subject to availability and being fault free on the day. Detailed availability for specific venues and vehicles for this package are as follows:
Ariel Atom is at Aldershot Raceway, Brands Hatch, Smeatharpe Stadium, Goodwood, Lydden Hill, Mallory Park, Oulton Park, St Andrews and Three Sisters from March to November only
BMW i8 is unavailable at Goodwood
Jaguar F-Type is unavailable at Aldershot Raceway, Carver Barracks, Castle Combe, St Andrews Circuit, Three Sisters and Tockwith Motorsports Centre

Availability

This experience is available to book from February to November. Experiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher. You are advised to book at least 8 weeks in advance.

Extras On The Day

There is the option to view and purchase professional photography of your drive at the same time as your certificate presentation from the media desk. Unless pre-purchased, an optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) will be offered to you at registration on the day. The pay on the day price is £5 more than booking online.
